Self-Guided Tour of Elliot & Rosel Schewel Hall, the academic home for business, economics, communication studies, and the performing arts, and our campus’s newest building.

Journey Through the Years (permanent display) A 1903-2003 historical exhibition from the College Archives, Dining Room Foyer, and Burton Student Center. The display case and exhibit are a gift, in part, of the Class of 1993, and were designed by John Crank Jr. ’79.

Westover Hall Model (permanent display) Alumni House Lounge; built by Edmund “Rick” Potter, adjunct professor of history, son of Dr. Clifton ’62 and Dr. Dorothy Bundy Turner Potter ’64.

Special Notes

The dining room in Burton Student Center is open for lunch and dinner on Friday and brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Every event, including Class Reunion lunches, is open to all Westover Alumni Society members and guests. To make your weekend as enjoyable as possible, please let us know about any special needs you have such as dietary concerns or special parking.

TRAVEL ALERT: ROUTE 29 BY-PASS

For Route 29 southbound guests, please note that a by-pass begins south of Amherst. Take exit for Route 210 toward Downtown Lynchburg, turn right off the ramp, and turn left on Business 29 South, where the road will become familiar and follow signs to Lynchburg College at 1501 Lakeside Drive.
